As a co-founder of The Ike Fund, Cari has dedicated her life to creating positive change in memory of her beloved son, Ike. Alongside her husband, she nurtures the land on their farms in Hansford and Ochiltree counties. There, they cultivate not only crops but also the values of community and sustainability. As Ike's mother and the mother of two wonderful daughters, Elli and Aspen, her family is her heart and her inspiration.

Cari’s life is enriched by hobbies that connect her to the natural world and bring her joy and peace. Whether strolling along the ocean's edge, tending to her greenhouse, exploring new destinations, or enjoying a quiet afternoon on the golf course, each activity offers her a unique perspective and a chance to recharge.

The loss of Ike has profoundly shaped Cari’s journey, transforming her grief into a fervent passion for supporting others in their moments of need. Through The Ike Fund, she is committed to offering resources and a compassionate community for those navigating the difficult path of grief. Her mission is to ensure that no one feels alone in their sorrow and that together, we can find solace and strength in the memory of those we cherish.

Sam is the dedicated co-founder of The Ike Fund. His journey began on a ranch in Colorado, where the values of hard work, resilience, and a profound connection to the land were instilled in him from a young age. This foundation led him to establish impactful farming operations in Hansford and Ochiltree County, embodying the principles of sustainability and community support that are central to The Ike Fund’s mission.

Sam's life is a touching narrative of love, loss, and legacy following the passing of his son, Ike. As a father to his two daughters, Elli and Aspen, Sam is a pillar of strength and inspiration, nurturing in them the same dedication to positive change and respect for the environment that he cherished in Ike.

Beyond his commitments to farming and The Ike Fund, Sam finds solace and joy in golfing, reading, and traveling.
